Title: Creating APPs
Post by: p2 on June 20, 2011, 05:13:00 am
I've heard that I can create APPs of BASIC-programms with basicbuilder.
I made it but it was no .8xk-file (TI-APP). It was a .hex-document.
Then I've read that I can convert this into an APP with TI83+ Flash debugger.
It was an APP, but on the virtual TI in Flash Debugger.
I've tried to export the APP, but now I've got a .clc and a .83d (TIConnect Graph Database)
I can't open these files.  :banghead:

How to create an APP of this?

No, in the FlasDebugger directory, in Utils, you have Wappsign. Use it to convert your .hex file.
(you'll need the 0104 key, but I think it is with it)

Was the .hex document ASCII? If yes, try saving it as .8xk?

Hm, maybe Hayleia's option is better :)

Started Wappsign.
But I deed a .key-file. ???

First I got basic.hex
Then I got TI83Plus.clc and TI83Plus.83d

What is ASCII

I think you can find it on google or anything else.

I know how to get a .key-file (but not from TI):
1. Request for a secure certificate from a certification authority (CA).
2. Specify your production key file as current key file.
3. Receive the certificate and test the production key file.

(I'm sure I'll NEVER do this)

What shell I do?

Am I allowed to post the key as an attachement here or is it protected by law ?

EDIT: The answer is no

To make a flash application from an intel hex file (.hex is one extension for this) you do in fact, need a key, specifically the 0104.key, which can be found alongside many other keys at THE GAME .  Unlike many others, I DO suggest you keep using flash debugger, I found it to be quite easy to use and very functional, unlike wabbitsign or the like.

Please remove your link immediately Ashbad.  You can tell him in a pm an email if you need too.
