CX CAS OS problem.
« on: September 18, 2013, 08:35:44 am »
So i had put a 3.1 update on someone else's Calculator but he somehow screwed around and deleted the OS somehow and now i cant install any os at all saying error installing os (At the end of the installation.) It now just rests on OS not found, install OS now.

Everytime i install 3.1 again it says update succesfully send with the student software and the calculator says error installing OS, and reboots into the error screen again.

Did he by chance upgrade to OS 3.2.4 before removing the OS? That installs a downgrade protection.

Yes, but with the downgrade protection it wouldn't say "update succesfully".

Let's reformat the filesystem.

While holding the reset button, press and hold simultaneously the 3 keys Home Enter EE, and then release the reset button.

You should get the maintenance menu around 60% of the loading bar.
Press 4 to clean the whole filesystem.

He did not install a new one.

The buttons wont work, it just loads and goes to "Operating system not found. Install OS now."

EDIT: Sorry for double post.
