If all you want to do is program for the Ti 83+ series calc on an emu, then wabbitemu is for you.  I'll find the link in a minute.  Wabbitemu is a z80 emulator for the calcs.

You need to be patient when asking questions. In some cases, no one may know the answer and those who do are busy with other topics or even away from the computer. It was 2 AM when you bumped the topic so many people were already asleep by then. It's inevitable it could take up to a day or two before getting some answers sometimes, assuming anyone knows it.

Wabbit: go into Calculator > Variables, select the variable you want, and hit Export.

It used to work by dragging and dropping, but I think it changed.

And even longer if activity weren't so high :P

It depends, last year activity wasn't that high and most questions still got answered quite fast, if I remember, except maybe pixel art requests.

Did Buckeye remove the variables exporting feature?

Does pressing F7 still works? Or does it just crashes/do niothing?

At least with yesterday's build, pressing F7 brings up the export menu, and you can either click the button or drag and drop (the context menu does not work)
Edit: Same for today's

Drag and dropping still works? I thought it was removed on purpose...

Good to know, anyway.

I know this is off-topic, but why'd he remove it anyway?

You would need to ask him on IRC or via PM, since he doesn't check the forums as much lately

Has the original question (or whatever the question's become) been answered yet?
