I've been using TI-Connect on Vista the same way I used to use it on 98SE, with no problem yet.
Meaning, I use it only for the DeviceExplorer to transfer a program or two a month...

it works on my home premuim
and now I finaly got Star wars Knights of the old republic @ running 3-04 hrs later

you could also use TILP. Worked well for me with now issues.
