Gameboy Emulator Help
« on: May 12, 2011, 04:00:12 am »
Hello all, I have just recently found out how to jailbreak the calculator, I have a Ti-Nspire Cas Clickpad calculator which is running on the OS v1.7 and added a few programs on like block dude and all seems to run sweet. The only problem is that I tried to use the Gameboy Emulator and when I click on it the black screen appears that should appear for about half a second. Then the calculator reboots itself. Nothing happens after that, I can still re-install Ndless and play other games but then I try and go on the gameboy emulator no luck. Tried using both cas and non-cas and none work and loading it with roms and no roms and still doesn't work. So i don't know what I mite of done wrong so can someone please help me. Thanks.

You might want to post how you fixed it in case others end up having the same problem.

Then we can keep this topic to show others the solution to this type of problem.

Did you get the version of the emulator for Ndless 1.7 and up? The Ndless 1.1 version does not work (and your description of the problem sounds like you might have been running that). You can get the newest version here.

I was using ndless v1.7 and it was up and running, it was the type of gbc emulator i used. I was using the gbc4nspire_cas  emulator which the intrustions instructed me to use because i have cas but then i relised there was another folder with  gbc4nspire_ndless17 which worked as the emulated.

Yeah, the CAS version was for Ndless 1.1, when there had to be 2 versions of a program, 1 for CAS and 1 for non-CAS.
