Wow, that is pretty interesting. What I think is that in USA, we will get the TI-84 Plus C SE, while in France, you'll get the TI-84 Pocket C SE, since the other Pocket model is only available in France.

Oh no don't say that.  I really want to get a pocket calculator here in the US.  Maybe they'll give the US the pocket version since we don't have a pocket version yet and France has the Pocket, Asia has the Pocket SE and maybe we will get the Pocket C SE.  That would be great!

Maybe, although it would be weird if they sold both models in USA simultaneously (they couldn't charge more for the smaller one, unless it had better specs, else I doubt it would sell that well).

By the way, is TI keeping you informed of every single thing they are planning to release in the future, even China-only stuff, for example? If they do and never did any exception/forgetting before, then I guess that might possibly be fake. I admit that one thing that surprised me was how the design was so similar to the Pocket SE, but it seemed darker, and given that it was leaked so early after the other calc by a new member, I had the reflex to put a question mark after my news item title in case (yes, I still remember what TI did in 2011 with the TI-84+SE discontinuing stunt).

If that is really fake then that's a nice early April Fools joke that we felt for (I wonder who would hide behind the screen name above and if it's a known community member or just a random Slashdot user). If it was posted earlier and TI-Planet wouldn't have newsed about it for hours, then I would probably be even more skeptical, though.

About the letter order fail, one thing to keep in mind is that TI did some rather bad mistakes in the past. Remember the misordered calculator comparison chart page, for example.
