Nice trolling Adriweb :P, you really got us bad here lol. I mean, I was not 100% sure early on and I posted my news as some sort of question, but I would not have been surprised if TI released that at one point. I wonder if they will, though, in a not so distant future? Also in your new pic, it seems to look a bit nicer. :P

Well it would be stupid for TEXAS(in america) instruments to not sell things in america
Well, they're already doing that. The following calcs are not sold in North America:

TI-76.Fr (France)
TI-82 STATS (Germany)
TI-82 Stats.Fr (France, Belgium)
TI-83 Plus.Fr (France)
TI-84 Pocket.Fr (France)
TI-84 Pocket SE (Asia)
TI-Nspire CM (China)

On the other hand, the TI-73 is only sold in United States.

So odd.
I guess it changed from Texas Instruments as a place to nothing more than a name.

Yeah, and as well as what's said above none of the 84 pockets (real or otherwise) have been sold in the US yet :(  I wouldn't mind having one of the b/w ones, tho they don't have the extra ram..

Lol now to wonder how long before they start shaving stuff off of the 84Cs for no good reason :P

I think since the past few years they have just been trying to expand harder in Europe, especially places where competition from Casio was pretty fierce.

You forgot the "Plus" for the TI-84 Plus Pocket SE ;)
And I don't know why but the TI-84 Pocket.fr does not have a "Plus" ???
I own: 83+ ; 84+SE ; 76.fr ; CX CAS ; Prizm ; 84+CSE
Sorry if I answer with something that seems unrelated, English is not my primary language and I might not have understood well. Sorry if I make English mistakes too.

For information, TI-82 Stats has been available in France before being replaced with the TI-82 Stats.fr.

You knew the whole time, you didn't say anything neither..

Ok, je sors encore plus vite et encore plus loin.

Except that when I left on thursday morning you had neither posted the fake image, nor told me you intended to troll Omnimaga.

And when I came back on thursday evening, it had allready been found out that it was a fake and that you were the culprit.

Now you have to release/perform something huge so that people will forgive you :P

Hmm seriously ?

Some people need to grow the hell up if they can't laugh (or at least ignore) at a 1-day joke that I quickly "explained" afterwards.

Sure, why not 1 or 2 "-1", but that many ?

Yeah, right, it sure feels very nice to be there.

Well, it looks like mainly one person spammed down every one of your posts in this thread, it's not a conspiracy or anything. Still, I do feel like that's abusing the rating system.

By the way, from the MySQL database, can admins bulk-deleted negative/postive votes in one thread given by one person in particular or is that impossible?

Also were there multiple negative votes on one post or were they on many posts? Not sure if 0-1 post members can mass downrate. On the other hand, in the past, it was not rare to see group of friends or supporters of each others come here just to visit controversial topics and downrate posts they disagree with together and rating each others up.

I agree though that disagreeing with someone or disliking his joke is fine if stated respectfuly and politely, but going on an hating rampage against that person by rating all his posts down or even permanently putting him on his shitlist for just one prank among many good community contributions is uncalled for.

EDIT: The first post received many dislikes, but it was the only one to do so, so it was most likely one person doing the mass downvoting (not sure if related to the other downvoting incident yesterday?). The first post downvoting is most likely just random people finding the joke immature or something.

( http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?action=ezportal;sa=page;p=25 for people who want to know which posts of theirs ever got downrated, but they are not necessarily in the right order)
