mhmm weird x.x

If you don't  mind waiting a day or two, hopefully Bwang or any of the french guy will most likely show up here then and be able to answer your question easier.

To start, make sure that your Nspire isn't the one with a touchpad. If it has one, then you can't downgrade it below 2.0.

If you have the clickwheel version, then try the following things:

-try installing the 1.1 OS with the Computer Link program, and only after that run Ndless

-if Ndless still doesn't work after that, and you happen to have an 84+ nearby, you can put Ndless on your Nspire using the 84+. I'll post a link to the program if the first method doesn't work

Well ive got OS 1.1.9170 on it, so i guess its not a touch pad, it must be the click wheel version.
So yea i istalled 1.1 OS with computer link 1.3, and when I run Ndless it still doesnt work, and I dont have an 84+ I just got the Nspire for school.
Would anyone be able to make a tutorial vid, don't worry if its too much effort.
Um, its says in the read me off Ndless to change the OS name to tinspire_1.1.tno, but isnt that that normal Nspire OS, I thought it should be tinspire_1.1.tnc, because ive got CAS.

Even if it is a CAS or a NON CAS Nspire, the file have to be called "tinspire_1.1.tno" BUT the file name doesn't influe on the file content.

If it is a CAS, the file have to be the original 1.1 *.tnc file renamed to "tinspire_1.1.tno" AND BE CAREFUL WITH WINDOWS HIDDEN EXTENSIONS

Okey,
I've seen that many TI-nSpire CAS users had got troubles with using the Ndless installer.
Thus, I get the time to record myself while installing and uninstalling Ndless on a TI-nSpire CAS.
The only problem is that I'm a french speaker, and I don't have instinctive english for the moment (I have to talk many hours for being bilingual...)

Here is the video (available in HD only, think to active it):

If any one have the time to make subtitles in english, it could be really great. I could make them, but a little help can't be refused :p
If there is any voluntaries, please tell me :)

EDIT : Video now online

Sounds cool ^^

Idk if I'll be able to add subs since I am taking some sort of semi-break (see news article on front page), but hopefully maybe someone else who understand both english and french could do it.

Hi, I'm a new member here, and have just succesfully installed ndless on my TI-Nspire (Not as easy as I thought it'd be! I have Win 7 64bit, and had trouble finding OS 1.1). I have a small problem though, as I have a newer TI-Nspire, so whenever I turn it off, I must remove the batteries in order for it to turn on again. I know that this is a known problem, but I have heard that there is a utility available which can help with this issue. Is this true, and if so, where can I find it? I'd appreciate any help that anyone can give me. Thanks in advance.

Thank you so much, it works perfectly! My friends need this as well, as my whole year group at my school have just bought the TI-Nspire calculator for our GCSEs.

No problem. :)

Hopefully a version of Ndless will eventually be available for OS 1.7 and 2.0. I hope those versions don't have the screen issue.
