My calc makes problems again!
« on: August 01, 2011, 01:06:56 pm »
I've sent tag to my ti.
After playing it, No names of the programs were shown in MirageOS.

After that, I've sent this greyscale-nyancat on my TI.
Now, I've always this ERR:MEMORY after using APPs
And in MirageOS, every font is large, not small.
Even on my graph-screen, the coordinates are in large Font.

the last resending is only one week ago!

There must be something else!

my OS is 2.43 and it's a TI84+

It is ERR:MEMORY even on 2nd + MEM
Then, it says the ERR, and then it only shows me a program A, nothing else!

I've seen that. Toggling the folder it's in or restarting MirageOS fix it.

Could you describe the error a bit more?

Either the flag governing that has been left in an incorrect state or there's memory corruption, which latter might also explain the memory errors. Maybe.

Spoiler For "PartesOS links":
I'll put it online when it does something.

I press 2nd + MEM
it shows me the normal menue
when I press 2, it shows me the list what I would like to watch (which list - programs/APPs/lists/...)

If I choosew anything, it tells me
Quote
ERR:MEMORY
1:Quit
2:Goto
If I choose goto, It tells me
Quote
RAM FREE    3778
ARC GREE  438893
 *A

I've opened Asm(prgmNYANMEM
TI went off
Ramclear

Now, it works again.

But what may I do else, to stop that in future (very often such programs and so on)

IS THERE ANY POSIBILLITY TO DELETE REALLY EVERYTHING AND TO SEND ALL NEW?
EVERYTIME I SEND A NEW OS, IT IS OK FOR A FEWW DAYS AND THEN MAKES STRANGE THINGS AGAIN!

A full memory reset could work. That's how I fixed my memory problems before.
[2nd] [MEM] "7: Reset" "All Memory"

Spoiler For IMPORTANT NEWS!:
Late last night, Quebec was invaded by a group calling themselves, "Omnimaga". Not much is known about these mysterious people except that they all carried calculators of some kind and they all seemed to converge on one house in particular. Experts estimate that the combined power of their fabled calculators is greater than all the worlds super computers put together. The group seems to be holding out in the home of a certain DJ_O, who the Omnimagians claim to be their founder. Such power has put the world at a standstill with everyone waiting to see what the Omnimagians will do...

Wait... This just in, the Omnimagians have sent the UN a list of demands that must be met or else the world will be "submitted to the wrath of Netham45's Lobster Army". Such demands include >9001 crates of peanuts, sacrificial blue lobsters, and a wide assortment of cherry flavored items. With such computing power stored in the hands of such people, we can only hope these demands are met.

In the wake of these events, we can only ask, Why? Why do these people make these demands, what caused them to gather, and what are their future plans...

I know it has something to do with Crabcake and Mirage not playing well together.  Good luck getting your calc working again.
