I finished HTML'ifying all of these steps up to step 5 (step 6 in the new version) at http://clrhome.org/tutorials/crash/! It has more detailed info, too, and looks better :D

So what do you think? How's the font? Particularly in the "If" blocks, is the font size too small? I wanted it to stand out from the rest of the text.

EDIT: I should edit the topic here too...

That looks great Deep Thought! Just one thing, though: Are you still planning to post tutorials and stuff on TI forums, though? Because we need to try to not split the community info too much either, especially that you're hosted on a free host, which means it's not guaranteed to stay up forever (eg: your OS 2.53 MP breakdown joke image on Cemetech)

That actually looks awesome. I love the dump page code.

Should I make that font size bigger, or is it fine?

I'll always post another copy on the forums if it's reasonable (for example this topic), meaning anything that isn't too long or too redundant :)

And thanks for telling me about that Cemetech pic, didn't notice. I changed URLs and forgot to switch that x.x

By the way, I've finally started:

I know it looks horrible, but I suck at making PDFs. Any suggestions are welcomed with a bag of peanuts.

EDIT: And my online version is completely done now.

Glad you find it useful!
Can I backup appvars ?
What do you mean? You can transfer appvars via link cable and save them into groups, just like with any other variables.

Also, ACagliano had an interesting idea a few days ago. He suggested that I make this something interactive, which would actually guide you step-by-step (with videos and stuff). What do you think? Spring break's coming up, so I may very well start on that.

It would be a cool idea actually. :D

Just make sure that it doesn't guide you the same way Windows Support does, though. <_<

Windows support sends you in circles (if DJ means what I think what he means)

I didn't mean backup the appvars (sorry, I'm a french student, I don't speak english very well). I meant save appvars, as programs and groups. Do I have to create an appvar and then to do the same steps than programs and groups ?
