The revision J thing is only for CX calculators. You can safely disregard it on grayscale models.

Yup, my CX CAS is revision J.  That's okay though, I have my old greyscale one.  :)


I wish they would have done more with the changeable keyboards.  Seems like a cool idea.

Woops sorry I forgot. :P I'll look into that asap.

I suppose you want 3.2 and 3.6 right ?

Edit : There is no need to make a custom pack. Simply follow the non-CAS instructions but use the phoenix.old.tns from the CAS folder instead of the non CAS one. Then you'll have 3.2 CAS and 3.6 non-CAS with Ndless.

I did what you said and it worked awesome! Now I don't have to carry around 2 calculators!  I wish I was smart enough to know how to edit the CAS OS to include the TI-84 files, but rebooting into one or the other works great!

I agree, but the issue with the changeable keyboards was that the contacts eventually became worn out after constantly swapping the keypads back and forth (especially with gbc4nspire). If they ever revive those keypads, they need to redesign them. I wonder if doing them like Super Nintendo cartridges would be better? The only issue would be dirty connectors and having to blow into your keypads, but SNES cartridges took about 10 years before finally becoming dirty and not playing every time from first try.

Hey, it's been about year since I made a post here. I heard that now a days you can run nlaunchy on a 3.6 calculator? That is, would I be able to swap between 3.6 CAS and 3.6 non-CAS on my touchpad nspire?

If so, do I still need flash the boot2 to 1.4 using nsNandManager? Or is the method of doing this different now?
