Need help with strange issue with certain apps on Ti-84 plus

Whenever I open certain applications the screen is extremely garbled and scrambled. I'm sure its not the ribbon cable because it only happens on certain applications.
I've tried reinstalling Ti-OS multiple times and clearing all memory however it does not fix the issue. Can someone please help.

a lot of apps but some ones in particular are minesweeper83plus, phoenix, doorsc7 and tiboyse.

yeah but it doesn't work although its noticeably less scrambled

On the back of your calc is a serial number including at the end X-0123Y. What is yours? For example, mine says P-0909M.
