But Ndless is so much more exciting than Assembly on the older models.  The Nspire has so much more potential than they did.

Yeah, it's pathetic what TI did. Of course, maybe they wanted to prevent some very advanced softwares to be ran at school, but still, they could have done an effort and tried to add some protections, like the TI-84+ PTT mode, and let other people run what they want on their machine in peace.

Back in 2008, I kept hearing about poor sales for the Nspire and prices dropping. You know, I am fairly sure word to mouth was there for something. Students saw no game could be ran on the Nspire and got recommended the 84+ instead. I personally would never have bought a TI calc if games were impossible on them. I would have borrowed the ones in math classes. To me, spending $139.99 plus taxes on a calculator just for some math classes, a calc I would need 2 years, was not justified.
