Seriously though, what exactly can TI do to you if you host OS files? If you don't give any personal info, they can't track you down and hence it's hard to prosecute.

Scenario 1
1) get the site IP (whois domain tools or Firefox ShowIP extension) and track down where's the site hosted and the owner of the server
2) C&D the hosting provider/ISP to get the files taken down
3) hosting provider/ISP enforces hosting rules disallowing copyrighted material
4) R.I.P Omnimaga: 2001-2011

Scenario 2:
1) Contact site owner with a C&D e-mail to get the files taken down
2) if that fail, go to scenario 1

If they get my IP address they can track down my ISP and then my home address from them, then get lawyers to send me a C&D letter like they did to TI-BANK admins.

It comes from the new beta site of the Internet Wayback Machine.
Strangely, that file is not indexed on the old web.archive.org site (that's why I didn't post it earlier).

Thanks and I noticed that with some sites there, too. Most Omni caches from Early 2007 will give a blank page on the old site but will load fine on the new one.

TI can track down your ISP/IP then your home, though, and send you a C&D letter directly, and if you don't, they can report your to your ISP for piracy.

great, although i found them already for 84+ ;)
but, your 2.53MP links to 2.55MP (not much of a difference, but still), because that is the link to the newest version.
i wouldn't exactly know what is different between 2.53 and 2.55

The biggest difference is in the GUI for stats calculations and some extra options in Push-To-Test. Shots below.

What sucks though is that by adding these features, TI wasted another page of flash. More incompatibility issues, in other words.

i don't think it's available, because the files share the same name, so it wouldn't be smart to host both of them on the site. (i think)

EDIT: no, i don't unless there is a way to rip the OS of your calc.

Hmm I wonder if that's possible. I think critor did it, though: He dumped a rom from his calc then used a software to convert it to an OS.

well, i could try to find something on ticalc. and an 2.53MP OS is easy to get on-calc :D

EDIT: can't find anything yet. but if there is someone who knows how, maybe?
