Euh... those links were refered on google, through the epsstore.ti.com site

example in google : site:ti.com "TI-Nspire.tnc"

Has anyone noticed that TI made OS 1.7.1.50 available on this page? http://education.ti.com/calculators/downloads/US/Software/Find-OS

Notice the http://education.ti.com/downloads/files/ti-nspire/17/TI-Nspire-1.7.1.50.tno URL. However, the only other available OS there is 3.0.

On the CAS Clickpad page there's a 1.7.1.50 tnc file. http://education.ti.com/calculators/downloads/US/Software/Find-OS-CAS

On the Touchpad pages, however, only OS 3.0 is available, since 1.7 doesn't natively support the touchpad keypad.

I'll update the first post soon.

Basically when navigating their site, if you select a clickpad model, click OS update then click download the latest OS, and this should display a page with a drop down to choose what download you want. However at the bottom of the page there are links to both OS 1.7 and 3.0.

Wow! So OS 3.0 requires a middleman OS (1.7) to update from a low OS like 1.3... Good news for us! :D

I don't really know, but I remember reading about Boot issues with OS 2.1. Maybe TI removed it due to that and forces people to update to 3.0 now, but have no choice to include an older OS to update, and purposely included a more limited OS (1.7 has no Input command) to convince people to upgrade further afterward.

Boot2 1.1 can't run the non-CAS 2.1 OS (it's too big).
There aren't any problem with boot2 1.4.

It seems OS 3.0.1 was really removed from their server! The links in the first post no longer works! O.O

I hope they do not do the same with older ones when the new OS 3.0 comes out...
