Optimizing Ti-84+C Silver Edition

So I just recently got my Ti84+CSE and I wanted to make it a better. I installed CabriJr and it's great so far but one this that bothers me is the LAG! My cursor moves too slow and if I hold it moves too fast/lags so then I have to go back by moving it slowly. Also pertaining to CabriJr when I show axes it doesn't show the number of my axes such as coordinates does anyone know what I can do?
Also are there any other things I can do to my calculator to get the best experience out of it? Such as tweak the settings and such.(nothing too difficult that may mess up my calculator :/)

Sadly I am afraid there is not much you can do, as no overclock (at least to my knowledge) exists.
The reason why the CSE is slower than its previous Ti-84+se editions are because they share very similar hardware. They both run at 15mHz, and the Color screen demands more to run it, thus resulting in "lag".
As for now, just hang in there. From personal experience I have gotten used to it already.

Hopefully there are alternate apps or OS upgrades in the future that makes things faster. I personally got used to some things on that calc, although typing can be annoying in the program editor.

The TI-84 Plus Silver Edition screen contains 768 bytes of data (2 colors and 96x64 resolution), but the color model screen contains 153600 bytes of data, meaning that it takes 200 times longer to update the entire display.

I thought this (TI-84) was old antique stuff already buried for collectors to enjoy. Somehow they've managed to ressurect it with color and a profitable price tag. I wonder, who is buying this stuff? Can anyone please provide a reasonable rationale?

Spiro: The Ti-84 family is probably the most used line (family) of calculators used, I still see people using their Ti-83's. The are a really great calculator so why change?

Yeah the reason why the color 84+ is so popular is because the older 84+ is. Also it's by TI and it's their cheapest color model.
