If you are talking about overclocking a TI-84+, I say: go for it, though you will have a hard time.
If you are talking about overclocking a TI-84+ Silver, I say: you've gone nuts, that's the fastest z80 calculator other than the TI-86!

All I know about overclocking is that if you mess up, your warranty does not cover it, so be VERY careful when overclocking. If you succeed, however, you will be envied by your whole school!

actually, of the z80 calcs, the 83+SE, 84+, and 84+SE are the top guys clock speed wise. The only issue is the calc is already overcloked when you get it, so there isn't a whole ton you can really do to it.

Richfiles (http://richfiles.solarbotics.net/Turbo.html) is a great resource, but like many people have already said, the 84 is a new calculator so it is already probably as fast as it can be.

First off like rivereye said they are already overclocked and second with ASM you can turn them into 15 Mhz
There are 10 types of people in this world-- those that can read binary, and those that can't.
