It doesn't work on 84+ calcs that got missing extra RAM pages either, I think. It will not work on the regular 83+ at all either.

Also I remember once that CtlgHelp got disabled for some reasons after I installed Omnicalc, I think, or maybe it was MirageOs.

Also for non-english users, language apps may conflict with other hook-based apps such as Omnicalc.

Yep.  I've been looking for something like a CAS or symbolic manipulation, or whatever it's called, and Symbolic/Unit Ops seems to be the closest I can get to.

Question: is there anything that can simulate the quick apps feature on Omnicalc, but isn't Omnicalc?

Edit: I think I remember somebody saying that running zStart will invalidate my OS, so I have to disable it before trying to transfer my OS to other calcs.  Do any other apps/programs do this?

Alberthrock is working on a CAS system for TI-8x, but it said 1% done the last time I checked hahaha

Krolypto might, but I don't believe that any of the others do. :)

Be careful if you're using Group Tool - I've lost all the contents of my groups before by using it. D=

Cabamap is a big-integer calculator, not a CAS ;)
The other programs that will invalidate your OS are patches, like the one to remove PTT, for example.

That Omnicalc RAM restore, does it just stick a backup in archive? That seems like it would work well enough, but I really don't see the point. The OS can do that by itself with the group function.

There was something similar for the 86 (much more useful, since the 86 had no Flash ROM) and it used the extra RAM that pterodactyl gives to the OS. Phoenix also used it to save XD If you'd played phoenix since enabling the program, your stuff was corrupted, and a restore would cause your calc to crash again. :P

Omnicalc RAM Restore backs up the RAM pages the OS uses to pages it does not use. It does not touch flash ;)
Sadly, this means the calcs with only 48KiB RAM can't use RAM Restore :(

AutoCalc combined with prettyprint, Symbolic and MathPrint should make a CAS. I don't know if AutoCalc is in english, though. Also it can be slow sometimes, because it's written in TI-BASIC.
