Purchase question
« on: November 04, 2014, 11:52:49 am »
Hey guys, I am new to the forum.
 ;D ;D ;D
I was wondering if I should buy a TI-Nspire CX CAS still since it is possible to install on the NON-CAS calcs.
Does buying a CAS version have any other advantages besides CAS features?
 ;D ;D ;D
Thanks, C

You can only install a CAS OS on a non CAS calc up to version 3.3. Also, not all calc revisions can be hacked this way. If you need a CAS, buy a CAS model, it's not that much more expensive.

You can probably buy an used CAS model, but used calculators will often not come with the Student Software simulator (at least not with a serial key)
