Just make sure that it doesn't guide you the same way Windows Support does, though. <_<
lol what's wrong with it? I'm not familiar with Windows Support.
Windows support search engine (as in the on-computer help section) is horrible and whenever you use the part where you choose what your problem looks like, in most cases the solutions given won't even fix your problem and in the end they tell you "Sorry, we couldn't help you on your issue". If I remember it is written by people from India who are paid like $1 an hour and barely even speak english.

I didn't mean backup the appvars (sorry, I'm a french student, I don't speak english very well). I meant save appvars, as programs and groups. Do I have to create an appvar and then to do the same steps than programs and groups ?
Yes, it is possible. You would follow the same steps as for programs after you create the appvar.

thank you ! I've saved 2 precious appvars (but I think that the other are definitely lost...)
