Re: TI-Nspire GB Emulator
« on: May 10, 2010, 09:34:54 am »
Hello,
my name is oli and i come from germany.
I have the problem, that i can't update my OS to the current version, after installing the hacked 1.1 OS with the emulator etc. on my TI Nspire CAS.
That's bad, because i need some features the new OS does offer and which 1.1 does not support.
Is there any way to get the new OS on my CAS?
Thanks,
oli

Did you uninstall Ndless? This is done by holding the θ key during boot.

Wasn't it ON+HOME+ENTER+P?

That's to bring up the maintenance menu built into the boot2, if you want to completely delete the current OS. I would try that if it still doesn't work after uninstalling Ndless.

Aaah ok, lol, I always went through there when uninstalling Ndless since I usually wanted to get rid of the OS as well.

Pull a battery and then put it back in. While the loading bar is showing, press theta.
This topic seems to be going a bit offtopic. Maybe all these Ndless installation questions should go in a separate thread?

My game wont load the .sav file. I can see it and create the file, but when I start up the game it doesn't let me continue.
Now im forced to save the .state file and if i press one wrong button the whole game saves at where I was, which would often be at the menu screen.
Then I would have to start all over again.
Now after 10 or so mis-saves, I'm being extremely careful.
EDIT: The game is Pokemon Silver.

You could always make a backup copy of the .state file.
