RESOLVED lcd going bad

I left nyan cat running for 3 days on accident and now my calculator has dark spots is part of the screen :mad:

It went 55116 frames  *.*

3 days....
I would recommend to leave it off a bit, and see if the spots disappear.
If they don't, I'm afraid you will need to let it be repaired :/

On a side note, I hope that the CX screen isn't bad quality.

EDIT 3 days ok for 84pse ok well my 83pse can hold over then

Oh, sorry, thought it was the nyan cat game.
Well, you should still leave it a bit, and hope the spots disappear.
I have had lcd damage on two Ti-92 Plus calculators, and they didn't go away. I hope its different for your 84.

I've had a stuck black pixel once that went away after I poked it, but I'm not going to recommend that lol

have you thought about screen conditioning?

Where it will hold a random shade of gray for 15 sec or so then switch and so on.

no, that justs adjusts your screen timer or something like that.

I don't know if one exists, but it would be ridiculously easy to make in axe.

Do note that I do not know much about computer monitors and calc screens.  i am just putting 2 and 2 together and hoping for 4.
(and if it works like a computer monitor, it should be done or an hour+

I guess, you would just need a program to flash the screen various colors. Do you need it in ndless (I can help you) or lua (I can't)?
