I thought Oses could still be sent to it though. Isn't that how ASM was accomplished on the TI-82 & TI-85, by sending hacked OS files?

Aww, that's a shame.
*edit* It appears I remembered incorrectly anyways. The TI-82 and TI-85 used hacked
backup
files, not hacked OS files. Somehow I got the file extensions mixed up in my head. X.X
