Need help with TI study card creator, i have a voy 200 and want to creat my own cards for my physics with cal. course. Prob. is that every time i create an equation with the microsoft equation 3.0 software and then try to copy and paste into the TI study card creator window it changes to unreadable garbage.

My question is, is there any free software out there that I will be able to write the symbols for calc. lvl math and physics, then transfer them onto the card creator? Or, is it possible to creat study cards directly on my voyage 200? Thanks for any help! :

well ticalc.org returned no results for this, I don't know if there is even a creator on calc for the v200. I remember the TI-83+ version had one but you had to pay for it. As for a free program to write math symbol you may want to check in windows: Start->Programs->Accessories->System Tools->Character maps, and choose the characters from there

You don't have to pay for the editor now, but it is buggy to say the least. I used it for about 5 minutes yesterday and already got frustrated. Bitmaps can't be moved around, and text never does what it is supposed to do. It is kind of a lost cause to try and use it.

Ah i see, ok, I guess I didn't check the TI site enough, last time I checked out studycard editor it was in late 2002

, I guess if it sucks that much it's worthless to try it then, and darn they made people pay for this? :S

Hey guys thx for the replies and the time, i have reserved my efforts to just writing out the full names or making up my own symbols for stuff like intergration or the force between two charged particles. It works for now and need that for my tests. I tried micro's office equation editor, and the study card creator software just makes it into a bulky image that is hard to work with. If you all find some way to write symbols like greek letters or calculus symbols, for the ti-study card creator, let me know. I did try to use the ti-reader converter, but dont think it works with word docs. Thx for the info.
