« on: September 08, 2011, 07:33:38 am »
i used i use the software TI-Nspire Text Editor, but since i upload to the 3.0 OS the generated files aren't usable anymore. Is this problem already fixed? I really need a good text editor for my ti-nspire, is urgent, and for now i have nothing...

I know TI-Nspire OS 3.1.0 has been released, but should i upload?

Keep it at OS 3.0.2 if you want sound and print() feature.
EDIT: is text editor use ndless? if it does, you can't use it in OS 3.X yet.

I believe that it's a PC-side program that does not encrypt the files that are sent to the Nspire, making OS 3.0 reject those files.

Yes. This is because TI has attempted to block third-party files in OS 3.0 and up. Currently, there is no known solution, but it's likely that a program that's compatible with 3.0 can be created in the future since we know a bit about how the encryption works.

If we use Luna sources to make Text Editor compatible ... well ... I think that made a complete IDE like TI Nspire Computer Software is smarter, but it takes such a long time ...
