TI84 Extra Symbols
« on: March 31, 2014, 10:13:03 am »
is it possible to add extra symbols like:

or:

or:
Γ
to the symbols on the ti84?
i'm not talking about changing the font because that would screw up prettyprint (which i'm having a secret affaire with :P )

The gamma and lowercase delta already are. They just aren't accessible by regular means. However there are some programs floating around on ticalc that give you access to them. For the upside down uppercase delta, there is no way to add this to the calc unless you were to use sprites.
I'm not a nerd but I pretend:

the first symbol isn't a lowercase delta, it's the symbol for partial fractions
the uppercase gamma isn't accessible too
and the nabla, i don't even know about that one...

YEah I am sure there are chars programs on ticalc which you could launch on a CSE to have all extra chars. Make sure the program is from the last decade, so it also has OS 1.15+ chars.

Else, I think MicrOS intended to allow custom fonts, but I don't know if creating 84+CSE fonts is possible.
