NOTE: Having a bit of trouble posting. My browser is a little over zealous with things like NoScript, Disconnect, and other stuff. Yeah, I'm paranoid. Sorry if I accidentally double post.
So I have a computer that dual-boots Windoze 8.1 and Linux Mint 17.1 (lovely OS, it keeps getting better). I have used the TI software for connecting my Nspire CX to my computer on Windows. Of course, I prefer linux so I set up TILP2. The first time I messed up doing it manually (missing dependencies), second time I used the version in the repositories. It was the latest version, I checked. All this to say I realized this:
TILP doesn't support the CX. At least not entirely. It works partially. Screenshots, Device info. However file transfer and ROM dump fail. The settings only have a option for Nspire, not Nspire CX. I also noticed that in the terminal output, TILP thought my OS was version 1.1. Obviously TILP was not built for the CX, maybe it was written before the CX came out.
So my question is, is there something similar to TILP that works for the CX?
Can TILP be patched?
Sorry if this has already been answered somewhere else, I missed it.
Thanks guys!
