How do you move a file to a nested folder? Trying to move a file to a folder in ndless but nothing happens.

Tilp currently has crappy support for folders on the Nspire. It's not possible to use subfolders nor the root for this reason.

Is it possible to move a file on the nspire itself?

Yes, you can use copy/cut and paste in the file browser, which can be found in the menu or by using [2nd] +[C]/[V]/[X]

Spoiler For some of the calcs I own:

(actually I have quite a few more than this, but I don't feel like making bars for them all.)

Yes, select the file, press ctrl+menu, and cut. Then go to the target folder and ctrl+menu, paste.
Also ninja.

I've heard (from a dev) that folders were never really looked into because the devs thought nobody really used nested folders x.x

The only nested folder I use is ndless/startup.

Same. My gbc4nspire folder is such a mess that I want to keep it out of the other folders.
