I open wabbitemu try to send a program and I get virtal link error I redownloadedwabbitemu still the same error I sent knightOS beta then I put my calcs rom back on and now I cant use wabbitemu any help?
-
You know what helps? Sentences. Let me get this straight, you tried to send KnightOS to wabbitemu and it gave you an error. You redownloaded wabbitemu and resent and it still failed. You reloaded your ROM file and it doesn't work?
I need to know some stuff:
1. What ROM were you running when you tried to send knight OS. Calc version and OS version currently on it and bootcode if you know it. Did you get the ROM from your calc or did you acquire it via other means
2. What do you mean by can't use wabbitemu?
3. Where did you get your copy of Knight OS from?
4. Where did you download Wabbitemu from?

1 knight Os rom from http://ourl.ca/5934
2 it wont turn on (the calc) and sending a file gives virtual link error
4 wabbit.codeplex.com

Ok what about your previous ROM. I'm betting the knight OS rom is incompatible with the recent hardware changes, thus why that didnt work. But I'll need to know what your previous rom was and where it was from to make a guess why it doesnt work
-
I got it from my calc boot code 1.0.2 OS 2.53MP
-
Alright and how are you trying to turn it on? This is a rom not a save state correct? Try doing a Debug->Reset, Debug->Turn on Calc
-
that is what I am trying but no success
-
alright do that then open up the debugger and paste me the current line of the disassembly
-
the hole thing it opens up automaticly BTW
-
that would be helpful to know. When does it open and on what line

Was this the 84p or 84pse? Also would you be willing to send me your ROM? buckeyedude92@hotmail.com
-
84PSE and ok
-
Well the issue is your ROM, not Wabbitemu. You somehow managed to load the 83p bootcode into your 84pse rom. Which as you now know just won't work. You're best bet is to redump the rom, or if you know what you're doing you can use bootfree or a hex editor copy over the proper bootpage to the file

Ok then Ill reget the rom off my calc Done it worked thanks I had a backup of my rom
