WabbitEmu help

So I finally decided that I am going to make the new wabbitemu work for me.
Wabbitemu just fails miserably when I try to use it. First off, unless I right click run as administrator, it fails to load and crashes before anything happens. Then I get quite a few crashes when adjusting the lcd, sometimes the bouncing ball doesn't appear and it crashes. It's crashed before when I was debugging. Opening saves states is usually a 50-50 thing. Sometimes the F buttons refuse to work along with backspace. When sending programs, the loading bar doesn't appear, it is just a tan box. And most of all, it will just crash for no reason.
I have had to stick with the old version, the 83+, because the new one is so unstable for me that I can't get anything done. The only reason I even use it is to take screenshots. I really want to use it though because it just is all around better, especially the debugger.
I am on windows xp 32bit. I have 1.25 gb of ram, with about 5gb of free hard drive space.
I feel like I am missing some vital file. Any ideas?

You can build a statue out of either 1'x1' blocks or 12'x12' blocks. The 1'x1' blocks will take a lot longer, but the final product is worth it.

WabbitEmu consists of just the executable...
Maybe it's a bad graphics card or a bad config file?
* calcdude searches for the config file

Maybe registry key corruption? When running it the first time, maybe something permanently messed up. Sometimes, I had issues when switching to a new version a year ago. You would need to wait until BuckeyeDude sees that thread, though.

Maybe... yeah, buckeye should know what reg keys wabbitemu has.
Edit:
I found them! Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wabbitemu contains pretty much everything wabbit-related.
If you can, see if deleting this set of keys helps.
Edit2:
Actually, Software\Wabbitemu comes up multiple times, so maybe you should get rid of all instances?

I'll wait for buckeye before I go deleting registry entries lol. But I feel like the first time I tried the new one, it still didn't work.

I moved this topic in calc help and support because it was posted in the wrong sub-forum (site feedback/questions)

Sorry, I really had no idea where to put it. I didn't notice the calc help section and there was already a wabbitemu posted in feedback/questions.

No problem, the sub-forum title was a bit confusing anyway. As soon as someone may see "Questions" he will think: "Oh I must ask help there I guess". Plus there was the fact another Wabbitemu topic slipped by. I take several days to notice topics posted in the wrong sections since I usually use the New Posts page to browse the board.

Alrighty i'm here, lets see if we can fix some of your crashes.
First things first, go get the latest version from codeplex:
http://wabbit.codeplex.com
. I update quite frequently, so chances are you're not running the latest. What model rom are you attempting to run?
Requiring admin privileges, shouldn't be necessary, I don't have admin on one of my machines and it runs fine. I'm trying to think what could require admin, and my only guess is file access? Where is wabbitemu located on your machine, and where is your rom file at? When it crashes, it should give you the standard error reporting box. I need to see some of the technical info from there, to see where it crashed. If you could hop on IRC i'll see if I can find whatever is causing the crashes and fix it
