Happy anniversary to DJ's calculators and happy (two-day belated) birthday to a nation south of where he lives!

Thanks but actually USA independence day is the same day I started calc stuff. It's Canada's day that is 3 days earlier.

So um...instead of going around a carnival with grandparents I sat in a lawn chair and debugged...is that normal?

(btw epic fireworks show is epic..a navy station's centennial--hey it was too dark to see the screen :P)

Oh I thought it was the 4th.

Also the reason why June 24th quebec national day is celeberated more than Canada's day on July 1st is because of the perpetual tensions between english Canadians and Quebec people. In the past a lot of people wanted to separate and as a result, they feel quebec is more important than Canada (probably also to celeberate how french survived through this time). It goes to such extent that everything is closed on June 24th, but on July 1st supermarkets are open.
