Yeah there is the original version that wasn't Episode 4, because Episode 1, 2 and 3 came out about 20-30 years after Episode 4, 5 and 6. Then there is the 1997 version with graphical updates then the one adding Episode IV to the title. I think the 4th version released in blu ray had extra modifications or something. Most hardcore Star Wars fans prefer the original version with no edit.

New idea from my idealess head:
Put the calculator models into Kerbal Space Program and use that as a sort of rendering engine.
