Well, in my opinion star wars is awesome, and always stays awesome, so i'm looking forward to the new movies!
Well, maybe for you, but I'm a huge diehard mega fan of the Yuuzhan Vong war, and the civil war that follows, so they better not change that, but they will.

I think so, because the plans for the trilogy sound a bit different than any I've heard of.
It's 20 years later, Luke confront the emperor, not the clone, but for the first time I think it said. He has some other sister, and a love interest that it did not say was Mara jade.

It sounds like its having the same old actors :(
Which is awkward, especially since Princess Leia is old and a little heavier, much more than the real starwars had her.

When I heard about this on IRC earlier today my first thought was of Disney making a really awful sequel to the series, but maybe it'll be good. Gotta wait and see.

I heard it was all going to be CG

And didn't Star Wars already end as we knew it?

Darn, if the trend continues, live action movies will stop existing entirely, actors will lose their jobs and everything will just be CG. No more cartoon/anime/live action stuff D:

Star Wars Episode I was the end of Star Wars as we know it.

I look back and to see not only how lame the newer episodes are when compared to the old, but the general difference in the universe.

I didn't really mind Episode 1 through 3 but when Episode 1 came out I indeed noticed how different it was. Some people like my mom complained about how fewer space fights there were compared to the movies from the 70's and 80's.

I thought he directed Episode 4 through 6 too, along with every Star Wars shows since the very beggining? ??? (Heck, it even said LucasFilms or something before their intro, even before they were remade in the '90s)
