i once saw a reflection of a building on a hot day. iut was reflected in the heat!

Does that sometimes happens on asphalt when viewing it from certain angles anyway? I always wondered if that was some sort of optical illusion or mirage effect. It always seemed weird to me. Or sometimes it seems like there is water ponds on it but it's not the case.

This is a bit off-topic, though, since topic is more about reflections of yourselves :P

It's a mirage that is caused by the heat coming up from the road, which causes the hot air on top to deviate the rays of light.
