yays, I'm not alone!

Well, I played mostly when I was younger (3-14), so I wasn't exactly as mechanically aware of what I was doing, but still managed to do a landing gear like on planes (aka F-18/SR-71), you know, with all the strange mechanisms that hold everything...

I've accumulated a big bunch of Legos by now (>= half a cubic meter, of all kinds), so probably worth alot of $$ by today's standards

they are expensive, but i used to buy big pack of legos instead of models to build, because they were much cheaper. I always built towers with this (3 feet high at least)

...like the RCX in the RIS system, the Pneumatic system in some Lego Technic models, the Medieval stuff from Knights' Kingdom sets (the original, not the stupid new ones with the scorpions and the knights in purple armor). In fact, I even have two pairs of suspension springs I got from a very rare Lego Technic Motorcycle set...and it was for free from a garage sale!

Too bad I don't have the pneumatics. :(sad.gif

But at least I have ~20 kg of Lego bricks to replace it, and a special Motor house thing that can record any input from the motors (you rolling it around on wheels, for example) and repeat the action almost perfectly over and over again. Oh, and I have more than 100 minifigs.

I'm considering taking apart that giant wizard castle siege landscape when I get home, I don't really need it anymore since I only needed it ~three years ago for a 5th grade extra credit project. The only problem is I don't know how to get the marbles out of the counterweight of the trebuchet I made for the undead army laying the wizard castle under siege. Do you have any ideas, cause those marbles are lodged in pretty tight...

Too bad you guys all have high tech legos, I just have a box with full of low-level gears and stuff, but no pneumatics or motors. I bought them mostly in garage sells (whatever "vente de garage" is in english), massive sack for 5$.

7 foot long airplane with landing gears, variable geometry wings and big kinda working engines someone?
