Russians enjoy American pop music. So I was going through a grocery store in Russia, and I heard the song "Never gonna let you down" playing. Ironic, because I was disappointed that the store didn't have any cream of mushroom soup or anything similar

To be honest though I am kinda surprised they play american songs, considering the content of some and seeing how the Pussy Riot band got arrested for performing an anti-Putin song. Although I doubt you are as limited as in China or North Korea, in Quebec the band Loco Locass made an anti-Liberal song where it says to free us from the government that was in place at the time and they got away with it with no form of punishment.
