Heh, I have been carrying a pocket knife since middle school... I haven't stabbed anyone yet, but I have still had it. :)smile.gif

And yes, the best way to get someone's attention is beat the crap out of one of the toughest guys in school, people learn about that real quick, and don't want to mess with you after that.

Let them attack me when I go over there in March... I know many ways to inflict pain... >:D And contrary to my size, I am fairly fast... :)smile.gif

@Spelli: There's no sense paying money to take martial arts classes (unless it's something that you're truely interested in). There are many other forms of defense out there. I would recommend carrying around a baseball bat. You can take them anywhere, because people assume that you are just going out for/got back from a game or something, and they're the perfect offensive/defensive (pseudo-nonlethal) weapon. They're great for blocking most attacks, and they are very effective at inflicting pain with a lower chance of commiting homocide than any other weapon.

 uhm. lol? :gah:fou.gif

Besides, I already know some taekwondo. But nothing will help you if you are being surprised.

And I don't really want to run around carrying a baseball bat or stuff.

Pretty good actually, I've dropped it all the way down stairs multiple times as well as one time when it fell out of my pocket onto concrete when I was running. Damn sturdy little buggers. :)smile.gif
