friend of mine is doing it for religious reasons [3 day fast through the sabbath - christian stuff.] . i was just curious to see what would happen if I had no more "fuel" for the "car that is me." well..

no fuel, no go. el carro no va "anywhere"

it drains you real quick >> but its like, your body becomes incredibly sensitive. i was able to smell things i didn't smell before, and i felt things differently. it's an odd experience.

it's cause your detoxifying

EDIT: I think It would do me good to do this again... I also did noticed the weird senses thing... hmm, the sabbath you say, I've never heard of a Christian fasting through it...I've heard of the 30 hour famine, but usually when we fast it isn't on specific days, that I know of....then again I'm not the usual Christian, I don't believe in religion, only in faith :P

I fasted once in 6th grade for our Muslim section for extra credit. In our school, 6th and 7th grades were basically learning about medieval times, Holocaust, Africa, and worldwide religions.

im pretty slim, but i eat a bunch and just skipping breakfast makes me feel sick. i have to have food in my belly at all times. last year at school i puked because i skipped breakfast, and it was only 9:30. i usually have like 2 to 4 bowls of cocoa pebbles or four waffles with syrup and butter each morning, so i am not fit for fasting. i guess its cuz im sorta athletic (and i suppose that my metabolism is high) that im not huge.

I've never fasted for long periods of time.  However, I do on occasion go a few days eating extremely little (under 200 or so calories).

Generally, I'm a really big fan of food though.

Well, a few times where I feel down sometimes I just don't feel hungry and like eating. Once I went 24 hours without eating and only drank a few water x.x. There are other times where I eat a few stuff per meal then other days where I feel more hungry. However I generally eat less than I used to eat before

fasting is not eating right?

I fasted maybe 10 hours at most (no dinner). I eat quite well. Eat my plate and sometimes the rest of the plate of another person. ^^
I enjoy good food... But not in an excessive way.
When I don't eat a lunch I feel hungry xD

today we had retesting for eogs for those who failed, and it didn't end till like twelve thirty or one oclock or so, and thats when we all got to eat lunch, and i ate breakfast at 7:20, so from my previous posts, one could logically conclude that my tummy was not too happy. that's like 5 hours. i am not a fastable person.
