Well we had salad and pizza fries when I attended my hs.

meh our school only has a 1 soda and 1 hot drinks (coffee, hot chocolate) machine...

During breaks, a bakerie sets up a stall in the caretaker's room that has a bar with the corridor.

But during lunchbreak I either gotta go home, eat at subway's or at the univeristy canteen.

Ah, well we have a crappy subway type place at our College (a community one) but I never eat there.

the university canteen is okay, and u can get yourself as much as u want!!! (good for me, since I'm always hungry *drool*)

It's funny what we are talking about considering the name of the topic... It's great that our school has vending machines. The cafeteria food sucks and I need a good pepsi with a honey bun every once in a while.

lol we got so much junk food in our hs, not to mention the personal pan pizza is just a bowl for grease and oil it takes up to 7 napkins to drian it out. As for pop machines we got it like 5 of them. the Cafferittia also has pop but u can only get if you by a meal with it (that really pisses me off

). we even got a vending machine that has ENERGY DRINKS!!!!(but only one

)

Wow, our teachers don't give a damn when we go into the teacher's lounge and in fact regularly send students and TAs in there to go make copies or retrieve printouts or something. Also we have some really fun old coke machines at my school. They don't work very well and sometimes steal your $$$, but sometimes, they give you double cokes too so it evens out.

Anyways, one time a kid put his money in and the machine just decided to empty itself. It barfed up it's entire supply of soda onto the floor and there was a big mob of kids all trying to get a free coke off the floor!

Fun times.

The teachers' lounges around here usually smell pretty bad, so I'm pretty sure that no one uses them, or the vending machines inside. Also, the only vending machines that work in my (old) school are the ones that sell water or (GASP!) flavored water. In fact, you're not allowed to have any sort of open drink that's not water in a classroom. As for the cafeteria... they did switch to healthier foods, but I adjusted. I really like trail mix, so I got it from the snack machines.
