I locked it as soon as I posted it.
Also, DJ should not remove the double of it, seeing as it was placed here to legitamize the post itself.

Lol but remember spam is against the rules outside randomness :P

But again if no spam occurs in the topic it's fine :P since the initial post was not that spammish. I was just worried of a massive postcount++ spree x.x

I guess i didn't notice, cuz as admin/mod, the quick reply and reply buttons still shows up and can be accessed normally even when a topic is locked x.x. There's a warning the topic is locked but it's not easily noticeable when you don't pay attention

I just find it kind of sad that I lost respect for a perfectly respectable post.
Was there something wrong with it, putting aside the possibility of it being in the wrong place?

I think it is because it is in the wrong forum section. Normally the post should be located in Randomness, since the topic is purposely made to instigate spam.

Hehe, pranked all the IRC channels found in my sig (~50 persons) by saying I won't pay their respective VPSes anymore (i.e. closing of irc.julosoft.net and 57o9.org shell server) :P

Thanks to all the folks who helped me making everyone believe it while I was at school ^^
