In the spam section of the old board, they started a "last post of the year" topic where both tried to get the last post of that year, based on GMT-7, and together they posted about 600 times in two hours to get it. :P

Indeed. That wouldn't have happened on the current board because the spam section, when overused, ends up being invisible to people under a certain post count (usually 1000) :P
