Because my school was in the Netherlands (it still is, but I left a long time ago) people were doing pot pretty much every day (not me though, I just don't like it). Technically the school didn't allow it, especially not trading, but that never stopped the potheads - they just made sure to be off the school grounds. In my 6 years there (the regular time) I've never heard of a single person getting caught for pot, but, there was once an incident with someone doing harddrugs at school; I believe she was expelled.
At the university people are doing pot all over the campus.

There's a spot at my school that during lunchtime is pretty much established as "the pothead spot". Don't know how much the teachers know of it. Also, I heard plenty of stories of people drinking vodka, but I don't know how much of that has happened on campus.

In my area, there are three main high schools to choose from... mine is the "pot school", one is the "alcohol school", and I think the last is the "gangster school". Yeah...

All the kids in my school swear every other word they say. We get a in-school during lunch period detention when we swear. (Three detentions = ALE btw). But kids swear so much teachers can't keep up. D:

we can swear if we want here.  technically, we can't get in trouble for swearing unless you are using them ass a form of verbal abuse, and/or someone feels offended and reports you.  But if you stub your toe, get a crappy test grade, or something else, we can cuss in the middle of class if we want.  :P  I go to a relatively small private school.  I haven't heard any stories about people doing drugs there.

My school has a zero-tolerance policy with drugs. If you get caught once with even pretending to have them (i.e. a bag of sugar in your pocket), you get 10 days OSS, a $150+ fine, and you're put up for possible expulsion. Still, out of 484 kids in my class (not school. Huge, I know), about 75 drink, smoke, or do some kind of drugs. I expect that number to go up because some parents took the school to court saying that random drug tests are "unconstitutional" and the judge ruled in their favor, so no more of those.

There's a Walmart literally right next to my school and I went to a football game last night and in its parking lot there were plenty of kids smoking and nobody doing anything about it. I found it somewhat amusing, to be honest.

Three of my fellow ninth graders were sharing a cigarette when i got to the bus stop last week. Disgusting.
I'm not worried about SOPA creating censorship, that will not stand for long. I'm worried that they'll succeed in stopping piracy!

After hearing about everyone else's schools mine is much cleaner than I thought. It seems like some of this discussion is going off into school rules in general. My school recently added a rule that bans the use of programming software on school computers :( but I bring my own laptop :D and have IT tech privileges ;D which is actually higher than all other faculty   :hyper:
Other rules are freak dancing is prohibited at school dances but many people do it anyways including myself  ^-^ For more unorthodox rules, girls are not allowed to get abortions and if they do so they will get expelled. I've never heard of anyone breaking this rule before because of how strict they are on this

List of stuff I need to do before September:
1. Finish the Emulator of the Casio Prizm (in active development)
2. Finish the the SH3 asm IDE/assembler/linker program (in active development)
3. Create a partial Java virtual machine  for the Prizm (not started)
4. Create Axe for the Prizm with an Axe legacy mode (in planning phase)
5. Develop a large set of C and asm libraries for the Prizm (some progress)
6. Create an emulator of the 83+ for the Prizm (not started)
7. Create a well polished game that showcases the ability of the Casio Prizm (not started)

Is that your school? Must be a uniform thing, I never see people that dressed down for anything but home sports games.

Those uniforms are pretty similar to the ones at my school. Here is a picture of a couple of students in mass uniform which we only have to wear a few times a year with the good ole bishop.

No abortions??? That's sick. How can a school govern you medical endeavors??? What is wrong with your school? It sounds terrible.
P.S. And yes, they were sharing a cigarette.
