Anyway that was amazing. I wanted to meet him for a while, since he lives in the same city (but at the very opposite side of it), but we did not have the chance to do it until now. I asked to not work on October 2nd about 2 months in advance since I was going to the Montreal Canadiens vs New York Islanders NHL hockey exhibition game in Quebec city that night, but later this Marche Bleue event was announced and as it slowly approached there were chances that he might be able to go there. Finally he could and we decided to both go there, initially setting a meeting point at a bus stop in Quebec city.

I took a bit to notice him because there were lots of people at the bus stop then I spotted him but due to my troubles at recognizing people easily I wasn't 100% certain at first. We got in the crowded bus, talked for a short while as soon as we could get seats close to each others, then arrived on Abraham Plains, which were quickly flooded by a sea of blue (no, not lobsters):

Then that Bring back the Quebec Nordiques show started (where they presented many players from the NHL team that played in Quebec from 1979 to 1995 until they became the Colorado Avalanche) and it was fun especially with the ambience. Afterward we went to eat something at a nearby McDonald's. We talked for quite a while there, while we waited 45 minutes to order our meal, then talked more during eating and more afterward at Place d'Youville, until it was time for me to go to the Montreal Canadiens exhibition game. Juju, his bro and his mom couldn't come because the game was now sold out and they did not have tickets, not to mention I think city bus might have been a problem where they live. Besides the NHL return to quebec city, we mostly talked about our usual geekish activity from jailbreaking stuff to site hosting, obviously going through some calc talk as well

In overall we met for about 6 hours. I was really glad this finally happened and I enjoyed it. This event would mark the second time I meet someone from the internet in real life, the only other time being during Summer 2009, when I met AaroneusTheGreat, during his school trip in Montreal and Quebec city.

Fortunately, since we live kinda close, it shouldn't be too hard in the future to attempt at meeting once again.
