MBTI types
« on: October 20, 2013, 06:15:02 am »
Do a test, such as this one or an other one, if you don't know your type. Or guess it. Or look up all the type on wikipedia and see which one you identify with most (probably more accurate, but time consuming).

INTJ here, pretty much the archetypal INTJ.

According to the test I'm ISTJ but it's description and wikipedia's seem to contradict.
Site: You have marginal or no preference of Sensing over Intuition (1%)
Wikipedia: Sensing preferred to intuition

Well I interpret that as the test saying "you do not prefer sensing over intuition" but I guess it's not enough to call it a contradiction. It's probably like harold said due to ambiguity in that area for me.

"marginal to none" means "there was a preference recorded, but it was so small that it is either marginal or can be attributed to error and marked inconclusive"

Anyway I got ESTJ.

Extravert(22%)  Sensing(12%)  Thinking(25%)  Judging(1%)

If I took this test in 2010, I would probably have gotten 100% Introvert. O.O (perhaps 70% introvert before the end of 2009)

INTJ is pretty rare, but polls on other programmer websites have shown that it's very common among programmers.

I looked it up on wikipedia and it describes me perfectly, my favorite line on it: INTJs may communicate that idle dialogue such as small talk is a waste of time. So true ha ha!
