My Mom and Depression
« on: May 07, 2006, 05:13:00 pm »
Well... My mom has been diagnosed as bipolar and manic depressive for at least 15 years now. :(sad.gif

And today... My sister called me to inform me that my mom tried to commit suicide... by downing 150 pills of assorted kinds. :(sad.gif

If she makes it... There is a chance she will lose all kindey functionality and potential brain damage... And that is if she makes it. :(sad.gif

In her manic states, she is too scary to be around. Not to mention that she hates my wife. I have a little girl too... 22 months old. I have chosen to protect my family from her. Hence, I have not spoken to my mom for over a year now. My little girl probably does not even remember her grandma. :(sad.gif

Anyway... Emotions are high right now. I pray that I can handle this situation as is develops. This is a sad situation from every angle that you look it. :(sad.gif

Yeah... for me it sometimes feels like just a switch was toggled, fast mood changing is not good... And I still gotta find what toggles it >_<

oh gosh, I'll be wishing your family good luck :(sad.gif
I don't really know what it's like to be depressed (though some lousy middle school guidance office guys think I do. :angry:angry.gif)
One of these days I'll get a sig I'm really proud of.

Yes, this is a sad thing to happen and all we can do is pray....I just wish things like this wouldn't happen as they are >.< but all things happen for a reason!
