Audiosurf!
« on: September 21, 2011, 07:57:09 pm »
I've been debating about creating this topic for a few days now weather to talk about this game or not. But i guess i can. So yeah, theres this game called audiosurf, has anyone herd of it? I just wanted to know who else here plays it. If you have never herd of it, the steam page is here (im not gonna copy/paste the description here lol) http://store.steampowered.com/app/12900/ and that is the demo.

However, unfortunately for me I cannot play this game unless I play it with a slow song. Reason is, all the bumps in the road give me an immense headache and thats not a good sign.

This is displayed when you start the game but ill post it here:

WARNING!! This game may trigger photosensative epilepsy in a small amount of people (rest of warning is in the game before you play it. This is half of why i cant play it :( ).
Loved this place, still the best producers of power metal, and sparked my dreams of coding.

I love Audiosurf. Best ~$5 I've ever spent (got it on sale :P). There's also a version on Zune HD for free that I used to play daily :D

Beautiful and fun game. Doesn't work well with dubstep, though

Yeah the beat in dubstep is too slow for it I think. It's like eurodance, house and trance, except the beat is different.

An example is this remix of sandstorm
