Quotethanks. those photos are awesome, btw. Thanks As you can tell, I like tone-mapped HDR images....Quotecontext: http://clrhome.blogspot.com/2010/10/texas-instruments-response-to-casio.htmlAhh, fake news... Awesome article! If only it was true....
When I first got my digital camera, I also happened to have one of those fiber optic light toys.I discovered the effect you get when you take the picture from the top (near the ends of the threads). This one in particular was blue. In my programming teacher's classroom at school there was a photo editing program..."fireworks" I think. So I opened the pic and played around with the hue. I have like three-four variations of this photo now.
I like taking photos aiming directly into a light source, which doesn't mix well with HDR (it exaggerates lens flare exponentially).1 second @ f/29 ISO-100, 70 mm macro
It's not photoshop, it's Paint.NET, but still edits photos Quote from: Darl181 on October 14, 2010, 08:00:18 pmWhen I first got my digital camera, I also happened to have one of those fiber optic light toys.I discovered the effect you get when you take the picture from the top (near the ends of the threads). This one in particular was blue. I have a DSLR.
I took the macro photo with a regular lens plus a 25 mm extension tube. Macro photos like that require a tripod and getting awkwardly close to the ground.
