Maybe the fact that he uses a bigger screen space than the real screen dimension.
I have two screens, a full HD and a 1440*900, there is some unused space in the X virtual screen.

Been a while since I posted mine. I guess it's safe to say I'm satisfied with gnome fallback, seeing as I've stuck with it for about three whole months now.
And it's even managed to stay clean. The panel also hides (unless I glitch it so it stays out ofc =P ) so normally it's just a 1-pixel line across the top ^.^

my left screen is bottom-left and my right one is top-right resulting in two rectangles, bottom right and top left, where there is no screen, and they just seem to appear that way with my screen shot program (ksnapshot)

So you use KDE apps in XFCE ? I do the same in Awesome. :P I use Kate and Konsole instead of other lightweight equivalents.

New Nexus 4 wallpaper and layout :D

Streety, what launcher do you use?

My desktop (automatically switches to moar Mother 3 wallpapers)

I use the custom visual theme Elune. I love how it makes Aero way clearer than stock. Note the slight stripe effect on the explorer top frame (same on all windows), and how the buttons looks clean.

My launcher is Nova, though transparent status/nav bars are a feature of my ROM (crDroid which is an epic CM10.2 kang, though I need to begin working on my own).
