Mhmm, how long ago was 1.13 released? The last time I tried MTVMG in PSX is late 2008 or early 2009, I think. Basically most sounds were some high pitched acute synths. MTVMG has the exact same problem on the Playstation 3, too, from what I heard. IIRC it's just one hard game to emulate in terms of sound. I use ePSXe for it, with Eternal SPU sound plugin

I think it was later 2009. Not totally sure.

It's probably because pSX has trouble emulating XA audio accurately. Games that use different audio structures won't have these kinds of problems. I know in some games, the audio will just drop-out entirely.

By the way, what is the BlackBox thing Zera is trying?

It's a shell replacement. You can find it here.

I'm guessing for Vista/7?

Wow i like those. FOr some reasons, Mapar's brought me back some old memories of when Omnimaga still had that forum skin with star background.

Mapar, I really like yours!  great desktop!

Meishe, yours is neat too.  The best part is the folder 3 up and 1 left from the recycling bin (bottom right corner)... ;D

That reminds me, I wonder if I still got the Illusiat memories readme..., I should maybe post it at one point and put it online for nostalgia purpose. In 2003, when I uploaded Illusiat series to ticalc.org, Joey Gannon, who was the FA at the time, rejected the entire serie, because there were too many zip files and his excuse was that it would clutter the TI-BASIC games section. TO accept them, he forced me to put them in one zip file, which triggered the release of all 11 avaliable original Illusiat games in one zip file with a readme talking about the serie and describing each games in short summary.

So, here's how my laptop currently looks.

Here they are.
Nothing special, but affordable and works for what I need it to.

I'll mostly just be online and web designing/coding on this thing.
(I had to at least have Stepmania on here though. ;P)

Aaah seems pretty nice for school use and even for gaming use you can still run some games :P

Just don't do the game part too much, though, because laptops tend to break fast when overused x.x

Oops. Didn't notice your response.

I'm not sure if there are any blackbox builds compatible with Vista or 7. You can give it a try and see. I was using it under XP.

On another note: I wish Windows' taskbars were as flexible as those under Linux desktop environments. Earlier, I was trying to find ways to outright remove the Start button, move tray elements to other sections of the taskbar, or remove the tray altogether. I thought it would be cool to have a taskbar as minimal as this:

(although, this isn't an image of a taskbar in itself)

in my case I wish in Windows 7 I figured out a way to move the "show desktop" button next to the Start button like in Windows XP

I'm surprised how many other people here use Linux.  But I guess this is a pretty geeky place  :P

My linux background is really cool.  Its called "Day and Night" or something.  I can't seem to find it online anymore, but its really cool.  Its a sunrise from above the clouds and the image changes depending on the time of day.  In the morning, its a light blue with a sunrise, in the day its bright with yellow, the evening there's a red sunset, and at night, the sky is dark.  I love it.
