My actual desktop. As you can see, the computer I'm using, though over a year old (Vista :(), is still pretty untouched. The desktop icons are the same as when we got it. It's not my computer, so I'm not allowed to download new prgms.

At the bottom, you can see the single window :)

Wow I like them, especially the first one. Did you do the face model too? It looks so detailled

Yes I did :p
I first made the concept on paper. All those details are part of illusion that Blender 2.5 brought with bumpmaps
Here is a little makkng-off :

wow 5 hours o.o

That's insane, I would have thought it would have taken like a week or more to do that. I heard a lot of people say Blender can be confusing to use. I guess it depends of people, really. ANyway nice job

Also you seem quite good at drawing by hand. I made some comics before (some sort of "Livre dont vous êtes le héros" or "Advanced Dungeon & Dragons" in comic form instead of just text) but they look rather crappy x.x

The controls aren't obvious, but once you learn them, they are great.

This is for the first 3D design. It turns around 15 hours finally :p

Yes, the most difficult thing in Belnder, is to start. Finally Blender 2.5 is confusing for experimental users as well, because all the settings have been moved, but when you "understand" where they escaped, you're like at home :p
On the other hand, I tried 3Dsmax... it is a jungle for me... an other concept...

I began at 7 or so :D

GAH! I hate when I get used to a software and they change everything. What I hate even more in a software is when they even remove features and won't tell you. You search for hours, check the help then Google on forums, finding nothing, then finally you ask on a forum, no one knows then after 3 or 4 tries, you get told it was removed. Otherwise you usually get used fast to it

As for the final design, 15 hours is still nice

Finally, Blender 2.5 is so wonderful and so impressive, can make fast renders including the GPU, etc... that you can't say that you hate Blender :p
Furthermore, all the new features are related on the offcial website, but as we know, Blender 2.5 is a beta release (that evolves every day) for the future 2.6 trunk.
Look at the Blender 2.5 topic, started in 11/2007
Every 5 posts is some kind of new feature :

I need to reorganize my desktop...

Spoiler For Projects:

My projects haven't been worked on in a while, so they're all on hiatus for the time being. I do hope to eventually return to them in some form or another...

Spoiler For Pokemon TI:
Axe port of Pokemon Red/Blue to the 83+/84+ family. On hold.

Spoiler For Nostalgia:
My big personal project, an original RPG about dimensional travel and a few heroes tasked with saving the world.
Coding-wise, on hold, but I am re-working the story.

Spoiler For Finale's Super Insane Tunnel Pack of Doom:
I will be combining Blur and Collision Course into a single gamepack. On hold.

Spoiler For Nostalgia Origins: Sky's Story:
Prequel to Nostalgia. On hold, especially while the story is re-worked.

Here is my desktop.

Yes, I am a Ubuntu user, and yes, I actually play so much Pokémon Pinball that I need a launcher for it on my desktop. It is one of the reasons why nothing ever gets done.
